By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1.1 Account & Profile Data
- Google Sign-In: We use Google’s authentication widget to create your Lessonfuse account. We receive your name, email address, and Google profile picture URL.
1.2 Contact & Verification Data
- Phone Number: You must provide a valid Maldivian phone number after sign-up.
1.3 Payment & Subscription Data
- Payment Records: We record your subscription status, payment date, and amount (MVR 900/year) based on your manual bank transfer. We do not collect credit-card numbers or banking credentials.
1.4 Usage & Analytics Data
- Service Usage: We log your interactions—such as pages viewed, features used, rate of content generation—to monitor performance, enforce rate limits, and detect abuse.
- Device & Log Data: Includes IP address, browser type/version, operating system, timestamp, and error logs.
1.5 Uploaded Content
- Images for “Teacher Ideas”: You may upload photographs or graphics. We store these files solely to display within your Lessonfuse workspace.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide & Maintain the Service: Authenticate you, process your subscription, enforce rate limits, and deliver AI-generated lesson plans.
- Communication: Send you account notices, security alerts, and service updates via the email you registered.
- Improvement & Personalization: Analyze usage patterns to improve features, tailor content suggestions, and optimize system reliability.
- Fraud & Abuse Prevention: Detect and investigate potential account sharing or other policy violations.
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Remember your preferences and login state.
- Analyze traffic and usage with tools such as Google Analytics.
- Improve security (e.g., detect suspicious login attempts).

4.1 Third-Party Service Providers

- Account & Profile Data: Retained until you delete your account or after 24 months of inactivity.
- Usage & Log Data: Retained for up to 24 months to support abuse detection and service improvements.
- Uploaded Images: Retained until you remove them or delete your account.
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & Correction: You can view or correct your account information via your profile settings.
- Deletion: To delete your account and related data, contact us at lessonfuse@gmail.com. We will process deletions within 30 days.
- Objection & Restriction: You may object to certain processing (e.g., analytics) by contacting us.
- Marketing Opt-Out: We do not send marketing emails, only service-related communications.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption, access controls, secure hosting) to protect your data. However, no system is perfectly secure—use strong, unique passwords and enable device-level protections.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be stored and processed in the Republic of Maldives or with third-party providers outside the Maldives. We will maintain appropriate safeguards to protect your information.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is intended for adult teachers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us to have it removed.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Policy.
